Apple iPad – Larger Size

Thought about tweeting the text below.

When is the BIGGER iPad coming out? Is it 12”, 13”, 14” or 15”? And you were thinking they were expanding smaller? #iKnowNothing 😉

There has been a lot of chatter that an Apple event in October will introduce a new smaller iPad device. Well, in the not to distant future Apple might discover a market for an iPad even bigger than the current 9.7″ model. Time will tell if this is reality or just a dream.

Current laptops from Apple come with screen sizes of 11″, 13″, and 15″. The power of three?

Impression Leads to Action – Twitter to Audible

The repetition of an idea, product or service. Getting to sold.

The Twitter account of Joe Navarro is one that I’ve been following for a while. The tweet below is the point of contact that spurred action by me to visit Audible to look for his book. I’ve had many impressions about it and this was the one that made consumer action happen.

Listening to the sample on Audible, click image above to visit the page, persuaded me to add this audio book to my library.

A free sample of the real thing might be exactly what people need. Getting people to the place where they need to be to sample is usually the main issue. In the case of digital goods and services, it’s perhaps easier because the place is right where the user is. No need for them to get to a particular location.

Audio book purchased and downloaded to my computer. Look forward to listening to the whole book.

Kindle Network From Twitter Followings – Social Reading

KindleScreenshot

The Kindle reading network has some interesting possibilities.

  • Book clubs
  • Education:
    • K-12,
    • College
    • University
    • Community Ed.

The key might be to arrange around some circle of relevance. Classes and topics make sense as these are areas one can identify interest in. How do you find areas of interest that are below the surface of consciousness? Perhaps this is solved by connecting with people from other networks something like a cross-pollination of interests.

What Services Are Supported on Memolane?

Memolane Supported Services

Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Picassa, Last fm, Foursquare, Instagram, Tripit, YouTube, MySpace, Vimeo, and RSS feed are ways to aggregate your data into Memolane. Looks like Gowalla is not yet supported. Went in to my Gowalla account to see if there was a way to export data via and RSS URL. Didn’t find one. Did send a tweet to @Gowalla to about this. If I receive a reply, I’ll add it to the bottom of the post or int eh comments.
