Thinking of using Drafts to write posts for my blog. There is not a direct way I know of to directly publish that way. There is a way to send to Byword and for that app to publish to my blog. This post will be testing that idea.

This ad for Ahee on Pandora is hard to miss. Wonder what ad network or tools they are using to geo-target ads. I live just a few miles from their retail store and I recall hearing an audio commercial a few hours ago.
First time I’ve seen Google +1 in a Google Search result.
Finally, Twitter sends me follow suggestions.
While looking for a twitter name that was hard to spell I decided to search Google Reader for a term that might have been used. Last I recall, there were a few Twitter feeds coming in to Google Reader. One is tweets marked as favorites and there is or was one for @ replies to my account. The hope was that the person using Twitter I was looking for used the word “Biggby” (coffee chain here in Michigan) in a message to me. As of this post the search continues, but the reason behind this post is that you can use Google Reader as a personal search engine (PSE) that will search all the RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds you subscribe to. This would be similar to searching a single site using the advanced search features of Google but doing it for hundreds of sites that you subscribe to via RSS.

*The person I am looking for is on Skype and is logged in. Status is marked as do not disturb and in any case I want to learn how to find what I am looking for faster and more effectively using tools that are available. Will try Greplin next.

The above screenshot is from iTunes. This is a very large iPad app download. Didn’t think it would take an hour to download using Comcast broadband Internet. It’s after 11 PM EDT on a Wednesday. Might pause and restart the download to see if it gets a burst of speed.
Does Roku use tracking software to have ads follow you? The ad posted below appeared at the bottom of an MLive story about Facebook. Was on the Roku site in the past week checking out their offerings.
The screenshot above indicates that both Groupon and Living Social are targeting the Detroit market where I live. Looks like Groupon prefers the terms “Detroit Coupons” and that Living Social prefers “Detroit Deals.” It is unclear what keywords Groupon is using. Perhaps their AdWords budget for the day was expended and not reset for the new day. Seems odd that they did not come up in any of the searches. Living Social came up as the top ad or the only ad on four variations of those search terms.
